Once CJ and Edison have all of the ingredients, they must return to the mirror to make the potion. The prisoners will specify which location in the castle CJ needs to visit to collect the next ingredient. Each potion will set one of the prisoners free. In order to free them, CJ and Edison need to collect ingredients for magic potions. He's also programmed to miss any square that would result in the game ending with a stalemate.Ratso has trapped five Royal Prisoners inside of a mirror. Only that Ratso is programmed to never succeed in getting the final square for the win. How appropriate that the villain is a rat. Incidentally, that's during The Black Death. In the time song, years are illustrated with calendars for the years 1341 through 1345, so the game is presumably set in the 1340s.
